Llangollen Wharf
For over 100 years, visitors have enjoyed trips from Llangollen Wharf. Experience for yourself the pleasure of a horse drawn boat trip on the beautiful Llangollen Canal. Watch the fish swim lazily by in the clear water delivered fresh from the River Dee as your boat glides silently through the Welsh mountains. This length of canal has been designated as a World Heritage Site.

The museum is set along side the canal where a host of vintage cars and motorbikes are on display. The museum also provides some hard to find parts for those who have their own project on the go.
The Royal International Pavilion
The Pavilion hosts a range of events from the international Eistedfod to art shows, comedy shows and food and drink festivals. They also provide conference facilities and event bookings.
Llangollen Museum has been open since 2002. The museum was set up by a group of volunteers to allow both visitors and local people easy access to information and displays about the heritage of the area. In 2004 Llangollen Museum became a registered charity and moved to the present location in the centre of town.
The museum features displays on all of the subjects included on this web site as well as many others. In our archives we have thousands of photographs of Llangollen and the area and a large number of maps and documents. We also have may records detailing people and places throughout the history of the area. There are audio visual displays, computer displays and a children's section. We also have a small shop where cards, books, local crafts and many other items can be purchased. In addition there are displays of art in the gallery area, all of which are for sale in the shop.
