The museum was set up by a group of volunteers to allow both visitors and local people easy access to information and displays about the heritage of the area. The museum features displays on all of the subjects included on this web site as well as many others. In our archives we have thousands of photographs of Llangollen and the area and a large number of maps and documents. We also have may records detailing people and places throughout the history of the area. There are audio visual displays, computer displays and a children's section. We also have a small shop where cards, books, local crafts and many other items can be purchased. In addition there are displays of art in the gallery area, all of which are for sale in the shop.
