Llangollen on the web

Hello and a warm welcome to Llangollen.

My name is A. Dora Duck (Miss) and I am a pure white duck who actually lives here in our little town. I flutter between the canal and the river itself, where I can often be found basking on the rocks alongside Riverside Walk, the Victorian promenade that skirts the Dee.

Every month I put web to pen and write a column called Tales of the Riverbank in our local newspaper, Llan News. I have lots of friends down here on the riverbank and there’s always so much to gossip about as life here on the water always seems to reflect what is actually going on in your bigger world too!

I do hope that you will choose to visit Llangollen and come and meet all the characters who inhabit the river and its bank. You can spot such characters as ‘Call Me Dave’ Pigeon, Gordon the Brown Duck and Kylie Kingfisher to mention just a few. In the meantime if you would like to read more, please take a look.
